From her ever-expanding heart, Deborah buzzes around communities in her vibrant honey bee state. A natural pollinator, she connects people 2 people 2 places 2 spaces 2 magic 2 source. For over a dozen recent years, in Boulder, Denver and Austin, Deborah practiced her craft of creative recruiting. She developed a solid reputation for assessing multi-dimensional aspects of people and organizations, resulting in winning partnerships. She collaborated and negotiated with clients, artists and employers in the fields of art, design, new media, marketing and advertising.

Deborah reflects a blended balance of idealistic visionary and pragmatic organizer. She expresses an innate desire to thrive in any given environment or circumstance. Co-creating offices from scratch, growing businesses into multi-million dollar organizations, empowering dozens of employees, presiding over creative communications groups, which thrive under her leadership skills and commitment to walk her talk.

While living in Boulder a few years back, “peak oil” came into Deborah’s consciousness. The idea refocused her energies for social activism toward creating regenerative, local solutions for food, energy, and economy. She began vigorously volunteering for Boulder Valley Relocalization during it’s formative years, taking a leadership role in co-creating it’s first conference and expo.

Steeping herself into permaculture gave Deborah’s life a deeper and wider canvas for right livelihood. Before moving permanently to Hawai’i in late ’07, Deborah resided in what is still the most self-sustaining residence in Boulder County, located on 2.5 acres of a south-facing, pine-treed, granite canyon. At 6000 feet elevation she co-installed and planted 1000 linear feet of terraced gardens beds. Imaginative soil-building produced harvests that abundantly fed numerous households throughout the pristine canyon.

Early in her career, Deborah’s spent several years in leadership positions within wholesale-to-retail showrooms of furniture and art design. Prior to that, she worked for more than a decade in the legal and accounting fields.

Deborah joined Enlightened Science, LLC in 2009, after lightning bolts of inspiration commanded her attention. Inspiring vibrance in beings and communities has been in her actions, consciousness and nature for years. Focusing her creative juices in manifesting dream-time intelligence is a natural path, and she celebrates the infinite possibilities.
